Clean and modern in a great location. Walking distance to most things. Breakfast is good and the staff are friendly.
Air conditioning is centrally controlled instead of individually in each room and became too cold overnight.

I loved everything about Lemon Inn. I chose it because of the location, price, and positive ratings on Booked.net and Booked.net, and am glad I did. It's a short cab ride to the domestic airport (for flights to and from other cities Panama), as well as to Casco Viejo (Old City) for sightseeing and shopping. The hotel itself is lovely--newly renovated, nicely decorated, impeccably clean, spacious, air conditioned rooms and bathrooms. There is a separate computer modem upstairs, so you can get wifi (free) from anywhere in the hotel, not just near the lobby like many places I've stayed. The lobby has a sunny sitting area and dining area with a tv, plus a patio. They also have a great free breakfast-- cereal, eggs, toast, meats, fruit, yogurt, pastries--something for everyone. But the best part is the staff of this b&B. I met both of the brothers who run this hotel (which used to be their private family home). They bent over backward to help me book a last minute tour, literally making multiple calls for me while I was out sightseeing during the day. One of them even drove me to an atm so I can get enough cash to pay for the tour (which was not connected to their hotel, ie, their kindness was not for commission). The brothers speak perfect English. The wonderful night staff person speaks only Spanish but was also fabulous and helpful, providing wake-up service to the minute of the requested time each day, and even giving us a to-go breakfast when we left for the airport in a predawn hour (and making sure coffee was ready extra early). All this, from one of the least expensive hotels in the area. I recommend it highly!

The hotel staff was very accomodating. Every single staff member that we talked to was more than willing to help us figure out where to go, to recommend a good restaurant, or to simply tell us something about the area. It's a very cute, new little hotel located in the center of the city amongst the high buildings, but it is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Great working air conditioner which was good because it was extremely hot and humid!
Make sure to bring your own toiletries because none are supplied, not even soap. When booking, ask to stay in a room besides room #7. It's on the first floor right next to the hallway where people congregate to get their breakfast. Although the desk clerk tried to keep the noise down, it was inevitable to hear people's conversations and the staff walking back and forth preparing breakfast. So if you're a super early riser, it won't matter much. But if you like to sleep in, until around 8 or so, then ask for another room.

The friendliness of the staff, that it included breakfast, the option of having a driver to pick up and drop off from/to the airport.
The central air-conditioning system. It gets regulated for the entire hotel and each room can't be controlled. It's very loud (so if you are noise sensitive make sure to bring ear plugs) and it can be cold, even if they turn off the vents inside of your room.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
The location is not convenient, the hotel is located in an area with few sidewalks and no restaurants nearby it is difficult to hale a taxi in the area near the hotel. The rooms are clean but the shower in my room had a drain that was higher than the rest of the shower floor so I had to stand in about an inch of water from the previous shower. There is no way to control the air conditioning in the room so it runs all night and I got a little cold. The rooms are very small and For the price I think a person could do much better else where.

Brand new, clean facility. Educated, friendly, helpful owners. Easy walk to mall with high end shops. 24 hour herbal tea available. Patio and common room. Good coffee in the morning. Interesting construction next door.
Night clerks don't speak English. Take a translator of some sort with you. Breakfast a bit sparse, needs more fruit. Construction noise may bother some, not I.

Didn't expect the pleasure of homemade waffles, but had them anyway. Friendly service, great location, even though in the heart of the city it was nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Construction next door but was no disturbance. Food court at mall nearby had plenty of options for dining.
Only negative was not getting our wakeup call at 4:45AM. Not a big problem because we were able to be ready in 5 min when our ride came. Maybe alarm clocks in the room would help. Despite this we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to our friends who are looking for a great deal. We will hopefully stay here again on a future trip.
